Annual Fund 2017

The Mission of the Annual Fund

Corpus Christi Catholic School was established in 1958 and is built on a solid foundation rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ. We are blessed with outstanding students, parents, faculty, and staff. Our success is due to our commitment to our Catholic faith, an outstanding academic program, financial stability, and strong community support.  We began an Annual Fund in 2013 to ensure that we continue the tradition of providing a high-quality education for years to come.

Our Annual Fund serves an important role in the success of our school.  In order to maintain affordable tuition for our families while providing our children with the best academic tools available, the Annual Fund helps to close the gap between the actual cost to educate each child and the price associated with his or her education.  Together with the assistance of the Parish, the Annual Fund allows us to offer the best opportunities to our students.

The contributions made to the Annual Fund directly benefit our students, faculty, and staff.  Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have been able to fund the following projects over the most recent years:

  • Purchase five industrial-grade storage units for the junior high science lab.
  • Two complete iPad Mobile Labs were purchased. One is designated for grades 3-5, which includes 33 iPads, a charging cart, and a MacBook by which to program them.  The other cart is designated for grades K-2, and it includes 30 iPads and a charging cart.
  • Several digital microscopes, slides and other equipment were purchased for the junior high science lab.
  • Thirty-two Dell laptops were purchased.  These are now used in our laptop lab and provide additional access to computers for all grades.
  • A new swing set was added for K4-2nd grade students.

The goals for this year’s Annual Fund include:

  • Upgrading our interactive boards to SMART Interactive Classroom Systems.
  • Purchasing additional iPads for student use.
  • Constructing covered entrances to the child care center and the main school building.
  • Providing teachers with professional development and training opportunities that will meet the National Education Technology Standards (NETS).

 Alabama Opportunity Scholarship Fund

What if you could help a struggling family
keep their child in Catholic school, at no net cost to you?

"I would urge people to consider directing some of their personal state income tax
to the Alabama Scholarship Fund. It benefits our entire community."
- Most Reverend Thomas J. Rodi, Archbishop of Mobile

By donating to the Alabama Opportunity Scholarship Fund, you can receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit while helping sustain and expand a scholarship program in our schools that is benefitting hundreds of children from struggling families across our Archdiocese.

If your business also has Alabama tax liability, please consider corporate participation as well. To donate, go to www.alabamascholarshipfund.org.
