Dear Brothers and Sisters,
In a couple of months we will be celebrating our Parish Feast Day. Our name, Corpus Christi, declares the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist that we receive each Sunday. It also reminds us of the Body of Christ that we are grafted onto in our baptism.
The beautiful thing about both of those truths is that Jesus Christ came to provide this grace to ALL people. It doesn't matter what part of the world you come from, Christ desires to save you. It doesn't matter what background you have, Christ wants to be present to you! Not only that, He wants to gather you into the Church He set to establish, with all it's beliefs and Traditions, to build up unity while respecting the diversity of each person.
And it's that idea we want to celebrate at our Feast Day. So this year we will have a multicultural festival in celebration of the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ on June 22nd. We want to celebrate the unity in the diversity by showcasing the many cultures that are part of our parish. If you'd like to find out how to represent your culture at this special event, fill out the form below for more information.
God Bless,
Fr. Pat
