Sod Project

We have some amazing news to share! A big THANK YOU to a very generous donor who has offered to give us 40 pallets of sod to help cover the bare areas of our large field behind the gym if we can provide the manpower to lay the sod. This wonderful gift will create a safer, greener, and more enjoyable space for our Corpus Christi School students and our CYO athletes to play on and we know we have the volunteers to help make this offer a reality! We plan to lay the sod during the first week of June, weather permitting. It’s a BIG JOB, but with many hands, it can be done. We know the results will be something the whole community can be proud of. Here’s how you can help:

• Physical help laying sod - sign up for a day and time on our website
• A sod cutter machine 
• Bring your favorite shovel and shovel in top soil
• Bring a UTV, small trailer, or equipment to help move sod onto the field
• Experience laying sod is a bonus!

This is a chance to give back to our parish community in a very tangible way because the children who use the field will see and feel the results every time they head out there to play!
